Second meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Ramps4Champs 2.0 – School Edition”
The second in-person meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Ramps4Champs 2.0 – School Edition,” which lasts 24 months and for which FPDD is the project coordinator, took place on February 9th and 10th, 2026, in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece. This project aims to promote the practice of Boccia, focusing on BC3 classes in a school context.
It involves the participation of 7 other organizations from 6 european countries (APEFDP – Portugal; Loud Art & Inclusion – Greece; Rescue Training International Cy Ltd – Cyprus; Mine Vaganti NGO – Italy; Bulgarian Sports Development Association – Bulgaria; AETOI Thessalonikis – Greece; Polish Boccia Association – Poland).
This second project meeting, with all partners present, consisted of two sessions with different activities. In the first session, which took place at a city school, there was an inclusive practice of the sport (Boccia), between the project partners and local BC3 class athletes, in a moment of fellowship among all those present, where the ramps that will be distributed among all partners in order to start the dissemination of the project in schools were also presented and tested. In the second working session, held at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an assessment was made of the activities developed and results produced in this first year of the project, and future actions to be developed were prepared.
The next meeting is scheduled for the second half of this year in Italy.
